I would like to share with you the story of what Jesus has done for me and how He became the Lord and savior of my life. 

I was brought up in a small town in N. C. and attended a small Presbyterian Church regularly.  Church life was always very important to me. I began my spiritual journey with Christ at the age of 12.  I was attending a revival meeting at my church and asked the Lord Jesus to become Lord and Savior of my life.  I married my high school sweetheart who is also a devoted Christian.  We met in our high school choir and have been singing in church choirs most of our married life.  There is something about music that touches people in a way that nothing else can and we have been very thankful that we have been able to serve in this way.  One of our most memorable moments was when my husband and I had the priviledge of singing at a Billy Graham crusade.  It was one of the last crusades that he spoke at and it was an amazing experience!!

Another blessing in my spiritual journey has been the opportunity to be involved in Bible study groups for many years.  For over 16 years I led ladies' Bible study groups.  I have also taught adult Sunday School classes.  Leading these classes changed my life and equipped me to handle all of life's ups and downs with the understanding that everything that comes into my life is filtered through God's loving fingers. 

As my family has grown over the years I have seen God's hand in so many things, which in the last few years has included the birth of my four grandchildren.  I cherish the time that I spend with all of my grandchildren.  They are one of God's greatest rewards.  I think God gives us grandchildren as a reward for survivng their parents' teenage years!  My family consists of my husband, two married sons and our daughter.  Our older son has two daughters and the younger son has two sons.  

Lastly, I would like to share with you how the Lord led me into real estate.  I was in the process of obtaining a master's degree in counseling through a well know Christian University, but I began to feel that I was not in the center of God's will.  One day I was praying on the phone with my prayer partner.  I told her that I was not sure that I was really doing what God wanted me to do.  She said that she had been sensing the same thing from her prayers for me.  As I prayed over the next few days, I began to sense that God was leading me into real estate.  This was very exciting as I had always been very interested in real estate as a career.  I have had opportunities to pray for and with my clients and customers over the years and really believe that God leads every person to me for a reason. 

Interestingly enough, the prayer partner that I mentioned earlier began a career in real estate several years after I did.
